Getting to Athens
The best way to arrive to Athens is by air. The airport of Athens Eleftherios Venizelos is located in Spata and is one of the best airports in Europe. The airport serves flights to and from Greece daily for several international airlines from all over the world.
In order to get from the airport to the city centre one can take the Proastiakos Suburban Railway or the metro. The journey takes about 40 min and the cost is around €10. Alternatively, you can take a taxi (the cost is between €35 το € 50), a bus or rent a car.
How to get to the Workshop Venue by Proastiakos
In order to get to the workshop venue from the airport, you take the Proastiakos Suburbun Railway and you get off at the Larissa Station. From Larissa Station you get the Metro line 2 (Direction: Agios Antonios) and you get off at stop Attiki (1st stop). Then you get the metro line 1 (Direction: Piraeus) and you get off at stop Victoria (1st stop). The “Park Hotel” is 5 min walk from Victoria station.
How to get to the Workshop Venue by Metro
You can also use the Metro to reach the workshop venue. You get the Metro from the airport and get off at Ambelokipi stop. Then you can take a taxi (the distance to the hotel is about 2 klm.) If you do not want to use taxi, you get off at Monastiraki stop, you take metro line 1 (Direction: Kifissia) and you get off at stop Victoria (2nd stop). The “Park Hotel” is 5 min walk from Victoria station.
